Love Vibes Placement Guide

Love Vibes Placement Guide

From the Founder

When using Apollo Love Vibes, start by wearing Apollo on the inside of your ankle just above the ankle bone (medial malleolus). The strap should be snug, but not tight, and the vibrations should feel gentle, comfortable, and barely noticeable.

The medial malleolus—the inner ankle—may seem like an unlikely place to influence sexual pleasure, yet from both Western science and Tibetan medicine it represents a powerful access point to the reproductive system. What unites these perspectives is a shared understanding: pleasure emerges most reliably when the body feels safe, regulated, and embodied.

Apollo’s vibratory stimulation uniquely bridges Western + Eastern frameworks. Rather than forcing arousal, it reduces inhibition. By signaling safety through rhythm and touch, medial malleolus placement helps remove stress-related barriers to pleasure, allowing the reproductive system to function as it naturally evolved to do: with ease, responsiveness, and presence.

Once you’ve experienced the tried and true magic of the inner ankle, try these other Apollo positions for new experiences with yourself or your partner.

A Nervous-System-First Approach to Desire, Arousal, and Connection

Core principle:

Sexual wellness begins with felt safety, not performance. Apollo helps the nervous system enter the physiological state where desire, arousal, pleasure, connection, and climax are allowed to emerge.

SAFETY + ARRIVAL (5–7 minutes)

1. Wrist-to-Heart Arrival

  • Placement: Apollo on the anterior (underside) wrist
  • Position: Seated or standing, hand resting over sternum
  • Why: Activates Pericardium 6 + vagal afferents
  • Effect: Reduces anxiety, softens chest, stabilizes heart rhythm
  • Instruction: “Notice your breath slow. You are not trying to feel sexy—you are letting your body feel safe.”

2. Lower Abdomen Grounding

  • Placement: Two fingers below navel (Ren 6 / Dantian)
  • Position: Supine or seated
  • Why: Core safety center for reproductive organs
  • Effect: Grounds arousal energy, improves pelvic blood flow
  • Add: Slow nasal breathing (4–6 breaths/min)

BODY OPENING + SENSATION (8–10 minutes)

3. Inner Ankle Cross-Legged

  • Placement: Inside ankle (Kidney 3 / Spleen 6)
  • Position: Cross-legged so both ankles receive vibration
  • Why: Hormonal regulation, fear reduction
  • Effect: Supports desire by reducing stress-mediated inhibition

4. Inner Thigh Opening

  • Placement: Upper medial thigh
  • Position: Reclined butterfly or seated wide-leg
  • Why: Liver–Spleen meridian convergence
  • Effect: Emotional softening, genital arousal readiness
  • Key Note: No sexual touch required—this is about permission

5. Sacral Release

  • Placement: Center of sacrum (clipping Apollo to the back of your pants)
  • Position: Supine knees-to-chest or gentle rocking
  • Why: Parasympathetic pelvic outflow
  • Effect: Promotes a relaxed pelvic floor state, which can enhance comfort and improve pleasure response.

CONNECTION + CO-REGULATION  (8–12 minutes)

Important: This phase is designed for partnered y.

6. Wrist-to-Wrist Hold

  • Placement: Apollo on one partner’s inner wrist
  • Position: Seated facing each other
  • Why: Pericardium meridian + touch = safety signal
  • Effect: Nervous system synchronization
  • Instruction: “Match breathing. No talking.”

7. Arm Embrace (Apollo Between Forearms)

  • Placement: Apollo on underside of wrist between both forearms
  • Why: Both partners feel vibration
  • Effect: Oxytocin release, trust, emotional warmth
  • Clinical note: Excellent for couples with anxiety or trauma history

8. Chest-to-Chest Standing or Seated

  • Placement: Apollo on sternum (either partner)
  • Why: Heart–lung–vagus resonance
  • Effect: Emotional intimacy, desire emergence
  • Optional: Gentle sway or rocking

INTIMACY + PLEASURE READINESS (5–10 minutes)

Important: This phase is about state, not activity.

9. Lower Abdomen + Hand Overlay

  • Placement: Apollo below navel
  • Position: One or both partners place hands over it
  • Why: Amplifies vibration into pelvis
  • Effect: Increased genital blood flow, arousal without pressure

10. Shared Stillness

  • Placement: Wherever felt most pleasant (wrist, chest, sacrum)
  • Position: Lying side-by-side or spooning
  • Why: Sustains parasympathetic dominance
