At Apollo Neuro, we build Vibes to support your nervous system in real life, in the moments when you need to steady your breath, quiet your mind, and reconnect with yourself. Today, we’re excited to introduce Mindfulness Vibe and Meditation Vibe, each designed to support a different depth of inner calm and awareness, available today for all SmartVibes members.

These new Vibes reflect how our co-founder, Dr. Dave Rabin MD, PhD has collaborated with leading experts like Dr. Ronald Siegle PsyD, a leading mindfulness/meditation researcher at Harvard Medical School, and Segyu Choepel Rinpoche, a world renowned Tibetan Buddhist monk and founder of the Juniper Foundation to better understand how we think about the natural progression of inner stillness: from present-moment awareness to deeper meditative states. All the Vibes in the meditation category, including Calm, were designed to activate the posterior insula, the part of our brains responsible for listening to our bodies. With a lot of hard work and the help and loving support of the meditation community, we present to you the:

Find Presence in Any Moment

The Mindfulness Vibe helps you enter a state of presence more quickly and naturally. As Dr. Rabin describes it, this state starts with intentionally being present and aware of your breath, noticing your body and where your attention is, and then, gently and without judging yourself, redirecting your attention back to your body and breath. This practice, he calls “The Return,” is the entire practice or ‘game’ of mindfulness. The goal of this game is to notice, or be mindful of, when your attention veers away from your intended point of focus and to return your attention to your body and breath as quickly as you can. In the past, we had only our minds to guide us. Now we have the Mindfulness Vibe from Apollo.

Like where the Mindfulness Vibe takes you, or getting ready for a meditation session? The Meditation Vibe takes you deeper. This Vibe supports deeper exploration of consciousness, stillness, and greater states of calm. Simply by breathing with your Apollo Meditation Vibe as your guide, wherever you are, you can now access deeply restorative meditative states within minutes that typically take a decade to master. With regular practice, meditation, with or without Apollo, reduces stress hormones, lowers heart rate and blood pressure, and improves overall emotional regulation, focus, and contentment.

This Vibe is ideal for meditation sessions, intentional practice, or whenever you want to go beyond surface calm into deeper restoration.

Two Distinct Tools, One Progressive Journey

While these two Vibes serve different purposes, they work best as part of a natural progression with Calm Vibe to support deeper states of inner awareness and stillness. Calm helps settle your nervous system and reduce immediate stress by boosting vagus nerve activity. The Mindfulness Vibe increases vagus nerve activity just a tiny bit more, enabling you to arrive fully in the present (if you haven’t already). The Meditation Vibe then takes you further inward, into deeper states of consciousness.
